Benjamin Ferré

Benjamin Ferré graduated from SKEMA Business School's Grande École program in 2015. A dedicated adventurer and sailor, he hitchhiked and sailed solo around the world during his studies in 2012, covering 40,000 km to meet the School's alumni. This journey resulted in a film titled Le monde à portée de pouce. In 2017, he founded his own company, Imago, to make adventure accessible to all.
What’s next for him? The Vendée Globe 2024, the largest single-handed, non-stop, unassisted round-the-world sailing race. In this dual sporting and humanistic endeavor, the Malouin sailor is supported by several sponsors, including SKEMA!
Believing that his journey would have been vastly different without the trust placed in him by the School throughout his studies, Benjamin sees SKEMA as a loyal partner. It was during his time at the School that he developed the robust skills necessary to tackle his various challenges.

Benjamin’s goals center on humility, sharing, and transmission. This resonates deeply with SKEMA, making it not just an extraordinary human and sporting adventure but also a meaningful partnership. The entire SKEMA community is thrilled to support Benjamin and wishes him all the best in this remarkable endeavor

The Vendée Globe

The Vendée Globe is a unique sailing race held every four years, where skippers embark on a single-handed, non-stop, unassisted circumnavigation of the globe. Aboard 18-meter monohulls (IMOCAs), the sailors depart from Les Sables-d'Olonne in the Vendée region of France and sail nearly 45,000 kilometers around the planet. Their journey takes them past three legendary capes: Good Hope, Leeuwin, and Cape Horn, before returning to their starting point. More than just a competition, this emblematic global race represents an incredible human adventure.

Join us in supporting Benjamin and following his extraordinary journey.
